摘要：A stylus is assembled from a plastic tip having an axial bore and an ink tube insaid bore centered therein and welded thereto. Ultrasonic welding is used for softeningand partially melting the tip. On switching off the ultrasonic energy source, the moltenportion of the tip hardens and provides a strong bond between the tip and the ink tube.
