Have you ever got your lunch, but not known where to sit? You don't want to sit alone. But you are not sure who would be friendly and let you sit with them.
To solve the problem, Natalie Hampton, 16, made an app called Sit Wzih Us. It makes finding friends in the school canteen(食堂) very easy. Natalie is from Sherman Oaks, California, US.
The free app went online on Sep. 9. Students can sign up as \"ambassadors\"(大使) for a club. Then they can post \"open lunch\" events to invite others to join in.
Natalie got the idea to create the app after she ate alone her whole seventh grade year. The experience made her feel sad and she was even bullied (欺负). She changed schools because of that. People may want to know why you don't just ask to sit down. Natalie said the app stops kids from being rejected in front of others. \"This way it's very private. It's through the phone. No one else has to know. And you know that you're not going to be rejected once you get to the table,\" she told NPR. So far, the app works well. \"I had my first club meeting, and everyone was very excited. People are already posting open lunches at my school. So I'm very excited,\" Natalie told NPR.

Many car companies are adding features to make cars smarter---some cars can already avoid accidents or park themselves. But a human driver is still in control.
Google has started building 100 self-driving cars without any human controls. Instead, computer programs drive the cars, using sensors that “see” 600 feet in all directions to detect(探测) the road and any obstacles placed on the road which make it difficult to drive. One woman who took a ride in one of Google's cars said,”It was really kind of a space-age experience.”

It's important to develop the healthy habits in your daily life. The following will help you become healthier and keep perfect shape.
Eat properly. A healthy diet is very important for everybody. Breakfast is the most important meal in a day. Doctors suggest that students' breakfast should include fruit, eggs, milk, rice or noodles, because these can offer them necessary energy, help them listen carefully in class and keep them healthy. Eat enough for lunch and little for supper. But remember that too much sugar is bad for your teeth and blood. You shouldn't have too many sweet snacks and desserts in your diet, even though such food tastes delicious.
Keep off germs(病菌). Daily tooth cleaning reduces the amount of germs which will spread diseases. Germs in the mouth are likely to enter the blood and cause illness, even heart disease. Even if you' re not sick, always remember to cough or sneeze into your arms instead of your hands because hands can spread germs to others when you touch something else. Besides, washing hands is necessary after going to the toilet or before having a meal. And you'd better rub both hands while washing them.
Exercise regularly. Regular exercise can improve your moods and balance. What's more, it's good for bones. There are many forms of exercise: walking or running for about 30 minutes a day playing ball games twice or three times a week, swimming or dancing often. You can choose your favorite to practise regularly. You will not only feel energetic(精力充沛的) but also think better after doing exercise. Stay connected(联系). Having regular communication with friends is the key to reducing stress(减少压力). And sharing happiness and sadness, exchanging information with others can also help improve memory. Having a friend or a circle of friends can help you feel good.
