摘要：In marine seismic exploration, seismic energy is transmitted through a waterlayer into the earth and seismic reflection signals from subsurface interfaces arerecorded; a method is provided whereby undulating water bottom distortions in therecorded reflection signals are removed by replacing the seismic energy velocity in thewater layer with a velocity matching that of the earth medium immediately below thewater bottom.
