摘要:Producing cast polyamide by polymerizing a lactam in presence of at least oneactivator and at least one catalyst, comprises: (a) adding the activator to a lactam melt,and homogenizing, isolating, optionally drying, packaging and storing the obtainedmixture, or tableting the mixture on a tablet press or flaking it on a flaking roll; (b)adding the catalyst to a lactam melt, homogenizing the obtained mixture, and tableting iton a tablet press or flaking it on a flaking roll; and (c) mixing the melt obtained in (a) and(b), and polymerizing in a casting mold at 80-160[deg] C. Producing cast polyamide bypolymerizing a lactam in presence of at least one activator and at least one catalyst,comprises: (a) adding the activator (not > 5 wt.%) to a lactam melt at 70-120[deg] C,preferably 80-100[deg] C, and homogenizing, isolating, optionally drying, packaging andstoring the obtained mixture, or tableting the mixture on a tablet press or flaking it on aflaking roll; (b) adding the catalyst (not > 5 wt.%) to a lactam melt at 70-120[deg] C,preferably 80-100[deg] C, homogenizing the obtained mixture, and tableting it on atablet press or flaking it on a flaking roll; and (c) mixing the melt obtained in (a) and (b),and polymerizing in a casting mold at 80-160[deg] C. Independent claims are alsoincluded for: (1) a storage stable mixture comprising at least one isocyanate,
isocyanurate, biuret, allophanate, uretdione and/or carbodiimide as an activator (not > 5
wt.%), and at least one lactam of formula (I); and (2) a storage stable catalyst mixture thatis solid at upto 80[deg] C, comprising at least one catalyst (upto 5 wt.%) and (I). R : 3-13Calkylene. [Image].
