The Book That Influenced Me Most

To tell the truth,i haven't read many books and i am not very interested in

reading.But there is still a book that impressed me very much.It's Nikolai Ostrovsky's

how the steel being refined.

Although i read it several years ago,i can still remember the golden saying that the

leading character Paul Cocking said.Man's dearest possession is life.It's given to him

but once,and he must live it so as to feel no torturing regrets for wasted years,never

know the burning shame of a mean and petty past.So live that,dying, he might say:all

my life,all my strengths were given to the finest cause in all the world---the fight for

the liberation of mankind.These words inspired many people including me.How

should people live?The book gives us the answer.

Paul experienced many troubles in all his life,but he never gave up.He always

insisted on being enthusiastic to life and optimistic to future.He had his own belief

and all he did was to realize it.Just like what he said.he devoted all his life to the

liberation of mankind. There's no doubt that he is a great man and we can learn a lot

from him.Nobody is born to be great. What makes him great is himself. We may not be

as great as Paul,but we can be better and better by studying him. The book often reminds me of the life's value.Every time when i waste time doing

some meaninglessly things or can't solve the problems and want to give up, will
