摘要：The disclosure relates to an apparatus for removing a sterilant from a sterilantcontaining atmosphere of a room comprising an enclosure (1, 2) having an inlet to receivesterilant containing air outlet nozzles (1) to return air to atmosphere and a catalyst (5)within the enclosure for removing sterilant from the air. A fan (7) draws sterilant
containing air from the inlet though the catalyst and thence to atmosphere. An additionalfan (3) is provided to circulate air containing sterilant from the room through anadditional which is downstream of the catalyst to ensure sterility of that part of theenclosure for the sterilant removal phase. The sterilant is preferably hydrogen peroxide,with an activated carbon or ruthenium catalyst. A HEPA filter (5) may be locateddownstream of the additional inlet.
