摘要：A method of making a core yarn in which a pair of flattened slubbings or fiber-fleece strips are passed through a stretching arrangement comprising a plurality of pairsof rollers, the slubbing being engaged in the nips of the rollers, with the core threadbeing fed to each of the slubbing strips in the nip of the last roller pair. According to theinvention, the two slubbing strips are passed directly adjacent one another (either incontact or with a small spacing) through the nip of the last roller pair and immediatelydownstream thereof, the combination of strips and the respective core threads are spuntogether.
