We often hear people say, “Never give up.” These can be encouraging ords and ords of determination. A person ho believes in them ill keep trying to reach his goal no matter ho many times he fails. In my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have. Therefore, I believe that e should never give up.
One reason is that if e give up too easily, e ill rarely achieve anything. It is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something ne, so e should not feel discouraged and should try again. Besides, if e alays give up hen e fail, e ill not be able to develop ne skills and gro as people. Another reason e should never give up is that e can learn from our mistakes only if e make a ne effort. If e do not try again, the lesson e have learned is asted. Finally, e should never give up because as e ork to reach our goals, e develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed in other areas of our lives. If e never challenge ourselves, e ill begin to doubt our abilities. In short, it is important that e do not give up hen orking for our goals. Whether e succeed in the end or not, e ill learn something, and hat e learn ill help us to bee better, more confident people. Furthermore, if e give up, e have non chance of attaining our goals, but if e keep trying, there is alays a chance that e ill succeed one day.

The ords hich are carved on the alls of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. ere taken from his famous Second Inaugural Addreand begin ith he phrases hich I shall never forget: “With malice toard none, ith charity for all„”
