摘要：PURPOSE:To provide a silicone grease containing specific branchedpolyorganosiloxane, a specific benzene-soluble polyorganosiloxane (resin) and athickener at specific ratios, and capable of giving luxurious feeling and lubricity to therotary shaft of a rotary variable resistor, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective siliconegrease contains (A) 100pts.wt. of a branched polyorganosiloxane having a viscosity of100-500,000 Cst at 25 deg.C and represented by the average composition formula (R<1>,R<2> and R<3> are 1-30C alkyl or aryl; l is 1-4; n is 1-6), (B) 1-250pts.wt. of a benzene-soluble polyorganosiloxane (resin) having OR<5> group (R<5> is H or 1-3C alkyl)bonded with Si atom and composed of (i) 1mol of SiO2 unit and (ii) 0.4-2.0mol of(R<4>)3SiO1/2 unit (R<4> is univalent hydrocarbon group) and (C) 2-180pts.wt. of athickener. EFFECT:The grease has high adhesivity over a wide temperature range, smallchange in the torque after the use for a long period, and long working life.
